Waverly Girls attend NAS Jacksonville Air Show
What an exciting day at the NAS Jacksonville Air Show! In addition to watching the aerial acrobatics, Waverly girls were given a personal tour of the various aircraft by a female Navy Pilot and learned the basics of aerodynamics. The girls had a wonderful time walking through the different aircraft and learning how each aircraft supports the Navy's mission. They also had the opportunity to tour the cockpit and get their questions answered. A great time was had by all, and for many, it was the first time in their lives they'd ever been on an airplane.

Attorney General Bondi speaks at Junior Achievement fundraiser
Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi was the guest speaker at Junior Achievement's JA Girl$ $mart Women Make Change event on Thursday, Oct. 25, at the University of North Florida University Center. Two of our girls, Miss Keonna W. and Miss Taylor S. were chosen to act as moderators for this ground-breaking event and they did us proud! CONGRATULATIONS!!! It is so encouraging to see the doors that are opening for Waverly Academy girls.....GO WAVERLY!
